On February 3rd, 4th, and 5th, we had the pleasure of participating in this event in Granada, presenting some of the research work carried out at CIDAF Technology Center. During the congress, we shared results from the Operational Groups projects, Macroalgae Operational Group, CHERRY4FOOD, and Biorevaleaf Operational Group. We also had the opportunity to learn about the high-quality research being conducted within the life sciences and health ecosystem.
🤝 It was a great opportunity to establish valuable connections and explore synergies that will undoubtedly enrich our work in the sector. We appreciate everyone who reached out and showed interest in our initiatives.
Special thanks to our researchers Inés Cea Pavez, Inmaculada Moscoso Ruiz, Álvaro Rodríguez Pascual, and David Manteca Bautista, for their research and dissemination work.
The works presented during the congress were as follows:
- Poster presentation by Inmaculada Moscoso: “The invasive alga Rugulopteryx okamurae as a source of bioactive compounds: circular bioeconomy in the field of health” (02/04/2025) – Associated with the Macroalgae project.
- Poster presentation by Álvaro Rodríguez: “Study of the bioaccessibility of phenolic compounds from olive leaf microencapsulated by spray drying” (02/05/2025) – Associated with the Biorevaleaf project.
- Oral presentation by Inés Cea: “Olive leaf as a functional ingredient with anti-inflammatory activity” (02/05/2025) – Associated with the Biorevaleaf project.
- Poster presentation by David Manteca: “Transformation of gazpacho and salmorejo by-products into functional ingredients for healthy and sustainable nutrition” (02/05/2025) – Associated with the Cherry4Food project.
