At CIDAF, we had the honor of participating in the “ReGeneración of the Agri-Food Sector” conference, organized by IDEAL and BBVA—an initiative that highlights the talent, innovation, and involvement of new generations in the development of rural Andalusia.
Our colleague Ana Vigil, Business Development Manager, took part in the panel on innovation and technology in the agri-food sector. During her talk, she emphasized the importance of standing out through innovation and the application of science, especially in an increasingly competitive and globalized environment. At CIDAF, we focus on applied research to transform challenges into concrete, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
🌿 As an example, the #BIOREVALEAF project was presented—a CIDAF-led initiative in collaboration with strategic partners, focused on the valorization of olive leaves, a by-product of traditional olive groves that is often underutilized. The project aims to extract high-value bioactive compounds for use in food and health, promoting a circular bioeconomy model that reduces environmental impact and creates new business opportunities.
👏 Congratulations to all the young professionals who shared their ideas, experiences, and projects. Their enthusiasm and commitment are a source of inspiration to continue moving toward a more modern, technological, and sustainable agriculture.
